Why We Run
In 2021, a woman from a remote village died from a preventable infection caused by an improperly extracted tooth. Tragically, she was eight months pregnant, and both her and her child's death could have been avoided with proper care. Run for the One symbolizes the journey many Rwandans face just to access basic dental treatment. We run for those who walk miles for care we often take for granted.
Fixing the Problem
